Concert Bands and Marching Atoms

Annandale Bands 

The Annandale Bands have a strong tradition involving performance standards combined with a full musical education. 

The band program is a vital and important part of the total high school experience. The band represents a large, diverse, artistic, talented, and highly disciplined segment of the school.

The band program contributes a great deal to the sense of community present in Annandale through performances of the bands at concerts, sporting events, parades, and community events.

Annandale HS Band Boosters

Marching Atoms

The Marching Atoms is a co-curricular activity made up of students from the concert bands, plus the Color Guard.

Wind Ensemble

Wind Ensemble membership is drawn from the most advanced performers in the band program.

Symphonic Band

Students in this course form the representative performing band for the school.

Concert Band

The Concert Band presents a balanced study of literature at the highest level and quality attainable by the ensemble.

Beginning Band

Students will study the fundamentals of music while learning to play a wind or percussion instrument.

Jazz Ensemble

This ensemble studies the literature, rehearsal, and performance techniques of past and current popular jazz music, including emphasis on improvisational techniques.
